Santa came early this year. He ignored most of the items on my list (guess I was more Naughty than I was Nice) and instead brought a new air drill. What girl doesn't want a new farm implement in her stocking? To be fair, I think the "gift" was intended more for Tom and Jeff. Santa didn't bring our new air drill in his sleigh, either. It was driven to the farm from Billings by what I can only assume where some very atypically-appointed 'elves,' likely dressed not in red and white striped tights and jingle-bell booties, but most likely in jeans and Carhartt jackets.
The only thing Santa and the elves left off was the giant bow. Let's be real here. Chances were very slim any of us would receive a new Lexus for Christmas, but is there anything in the world that is not improved by a giant bow?!!?
