Onions in the Raised Beds!

In addition to branding last Saturday, we also planted our first crop in the new raised bed garden: onions!

Here's the story of getting the garden started, in photos and captions. Enjoy!

Jeff, Tom, and Carol, with Jeff and Sara Olsgaard, and me, Contemplating the level-ness and placement of the bed.

Two 10x8 raised beds, filled with a delicious mix of topsoil, peat moss, and well aged manure!

Placing a row of onion starts.

There's the row! We can harvest and thin the onions as they grow. Can't wait!
